Above is the animation I created during my time at Boathouse for Eversource. I was asked to do the following: "Concept and build an animation promoting using less energy via heat pump." The video was supposed to be short- only 15 seconds, so I had to be creative with how I conveyed the message.

I created a storyboard for the animation I wanted to make.

I was mostly satisfied with the bones, so I requested feedback and began to animate. I agreed with the response that the animation needed a little more life, so I animated air eminating from the vent, as well as icons to depict heating, cooling, and dehumidification.

I really liked creating this project. I appriciated having some freedom in the direction that the video took. If I had more time on this project, I might have created more of a cohesive story, showing the green and blue heat pump lines going to different rooms in a house. I am still happy with the final product- as is Eversource.
